VISUAL DEVELOPMENT
About
I'm Elva — a Visual Development Artist and Illustrator specialising in colour and environment, based in London.
Most recently, I served as Creative Director on an animation commissioned by the DigiAdGood Network, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) — directing, concept designing, and illustrating the entire production. The brief centred on human warmth and tactile storytelling, which sits at the heart of everything I make.
I graduated from the National Centre for Computer Animation at Bournemouth University in 2025, where I directed and art-directed multiple productions. I am a contributing artist to the ORBIS art book and a host for the GAIA international art project.
Alongside my animation and visual development work, I run the London Café Series — an ongoing illustration project documenting London's café culture through observational sketching. Through the series, I have partnered with brands including Tsujiri, EVE Kensington, and Morihomemade, and been approached for commercial illustration by luxury hospitality clients.
I am open to Visual Development roles, freelance illustration, and brand collaborations. Get in touch below.
